Toilet Installations
REMOVE THE WATER
- Begin the process by turning disconnecting the supply line
- Flush the toilet to remove the water from the bowl
- Since there will be extra water left in the bowl, use a plunger to force the
water down the drain
- If water remains in the bowl, use a sponge to soak the water out
- REMOVE THE OLD TOILET
• Remove the trim caps from the base
• Loosen and take off the washers and nuts
• If you notice the nuts are rusted, remove them using a hacksaw
• Sway the toilet side to side until it unscrews
• Once the toilet is removed, you will have open access to the sewer • Put a rag in the hole to avoid gasesNEW WAX SEAL
TOILET INSTALLATIONS
- Remove the previous wax seal
- Check to see if the flange is in good condition
- Take out the rag that was placed in the hole earlier
- If the flange is damaged, call us today for a skilled plumber
- Put a new wax seal and screw new bolts
- REMEMBER: You must remove the rag before attaching the new wax seal. If this is not
performed in the order listed, it can result into a costly mistake.
TANK AND BOWL
• Attach the tank and bowl using the closet bolts
• Attach the bolts in the opening to the base of the tank • Align the holes with the bolts and place the tank
• Attach a nut to the bolts to tighten the tank
• Make sure to tighten all the bolts to prevent wobbling • Apply the trim caps over the bolts
• Attach the seat and the lid with mounting bolts
